Public Health and Toxicology (ISSN: 2732-8929) is a double peer-reviewed open-access journal that welcomes integrated epidemiological, clinical, animal, and cellular biological research to provide the scientific foundation in support of hazard identification and risk assessment, resulting from exposure to chemical or biological agents. Furthermore, the journal is interested in aspects of toxicology that may protect public health and the environment through subsequent recommendations which may abate or reduce any resulting health effects.
The journal is also interested in population-based research and the evaluation of environmental risk throughout the lifespan including pre and postnatal development, childhood, adulthood and high-risk groups, its impact on biological systems and the causes underlying the variability in susceptibility towards exposures. Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Aristidis Tsatsakis, Professor of Toxicology, former President (2014-2016) of the Federation of European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX).
